A Beautiful Fall, and Thanksgiving Is Almost Here

What a fall we've had. The color has been unreal this year, the mornings are crisp, and the dining room has been full of familiar faces and plenty of new ones. Thank you for showing up for us this season. We feel it every night.

And just like that, the holidays are here.

Thanksgiving, high-country style

This year our Thanksgiving Provisions take you up into the Appalachian high country. Turkey legs confited in duck fat with our Backroad Blend, then crisped up so the skin crackles. And of course, my fried chicken. You know it had to be on the table.

Then the sides. Sausage cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, duck fat fingerlings, corn porridge, our house green beans, Brussels sprouts, fried apples, maple roasted baby carrots and beets, and butternut squash soup. Cornbread, always.
